There is the only island that is certified with three things in the world. Jeju Island was designated a National Biosphere conservation area in 2002, a World Natural Heritage site in 2007, and received Global Geopark Network certification in 2010. It is the only area in the world that has achieved these three accolades at the same time. Hallasan Mountain towers over the island at its center. Its volcanic origins give Jeju a variety of unique topographic features, making the entire island a "volcano museum".
Jeju is the main producer of tangerine which accounts for 99.5% of the total Korean output. That means Jeju tangerine is consumed by 9 out of 10 Koreans. Tangerine is characterized by being grown only in warm regions. Jeju Island is famous for premium citrus because it is located at the southernmost tip of Korea, which is its location advantage. It is always warm and there is much more water in Jeju Island than in other areas. That’s why it is famous for its premium citrus with higher sugar content and uniform quality than that of other regions.
It is made by grinding the entire citrus fruit from Jeju Island and blending green grape syrup extracted only by means of physical pressure, so you can enjoy the aroma and texture of the fruit as they are.
